5 1/2 - 7 Years
Classes will focus on the basics of art while laying a foundation to build upon. Students will improve their eye and hand coordination by drawing and painting while following directions. They will learn about the color wheel, famous artists and illustrators and create seasonal projects on paper and canvas. Class size max of 6.
$25 per class ($100 monthly/$400 Total) , 16 classes per semester. All materials included.
8-10 Years
Students will learn how to draw and paint using step-by-step instruction. Students will also learn about different artists and illustrators and create art projects inspired by their styles and techniques. They will create seasonal projects as well, using materials such as colored pencil, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paint and oil pastels on paper and canvas. Class size max of 6.
$25 per class ($100 monthly/$400 Total) , 16 classes per semester. All materials included.
11-13 Years
Students will learn the 7 elements of Art and how they all function to create Art. They will also learn about different artists throughout time and their unique styles. Students will learn color theory and grid method. Projects will include learning how to use materials such as pencil, color pencils, sharpie, watercolor and acrylic paints, including seasonal projects.
$25 per class ($100 monthly/$400 Total) , 16 classes per semester. All materials included.
Introductory Private Lesson
Schedule a one-on-one session with Sheila to see the studio and receive a drawing lesson along with one copy of the book she illustrated, “Here’s the Deal…Moose Aren’t Real”. This is a great time to ask questions and discuss any specialized needs your student may have before deciding to sign up for a semester commitment.
Parents required to stay. 1 Hour, max of 6 participants ages 5 and up per family. $25 one time class.
Join Us for Something Special
Twinkle Nights Classes are a once a month event, 3 hour evening class from 6-9pm on a Friday or Saturday. Art projects are themed to the season and different every month. This is a great option for a parent’s night out or to experience Twinkle Art Studio without the semester commitment. Ages 5 1/2 thru 12 years. Late fees apply after 9pm.
