The Art Studio

Twinkle Art Studio was designed as a place where children can come and expand their knowledge, talent and love for art. My hope is to spark the creativity and the natural gifts in them and to develop a deep love and appreciation for art. My goal is to see your child’s ability and artwork shine…or twinkle!

Classes will teach a range of subjects including the 7 Elements of Art, Art History, basic drawing, painting and other Art techniques using an array of mediums and materials. Small class sizes of up to 6 students per class help enable an environment of individualized instruction and gives each student plenty of attention and personal direction to further their growth in visual arts.

The Instructor

Sheila Jones

Sheila Jones has been teaching art to children for over a decade in various venues, including 4 years as a private school teacher, and many classes within a large home school organization. She is a third-generation artist who has lived in the Brandon area for over 30 years. She illustrated her first children’s book, “Here’s the Deal… Moose Aren’t Real” in 2021. In her free time, she loves painting and traveling to museums around the world with her husband of 20+ years. She has 3 children, who have all inherited a love for creativity through art and music.

Sheila decided to start Twinkle Art Studio to answer the need for art instruction in our community, and to share her passion for kids. She loves encouraging children to learn and try new things!

Art is not only a part of our daily lives, it is also a way of expression that can be therapeutic! I believe we were created to create. What that looks like for everyone is different.”
